Paula is the host of Thursday Inspiration
This week’s theme is wind and the picture is below. Here is the song snippet from “Windy” written by Ruthann Friedman and recorded by the Association in 1967.
Who’s peekin’ out from under a stairway
Callin’ a name that’s lighter than air?
Who’s bendin’ down to give me a rainbow?
Everyone knows it’s Windy

Gusts of strong wind slap me in my face
Trying to shake my resolve and my steps
Undeterred I walk on through the storm
If I give up now, I won’t have a tomorrow
It is easy to give up than to go on
But when we look back tomorrow
We will surely regret our cowardly choice
