Fandango’s Flash Fiction Challenge #61

FFFCWelcome to “Fandango’s Flash Fiction Challenge.”

The image below is from the Brainsparker app for iOS.311D3216-9BF1-40D8-A33A-332B86049E8B(For the visually challenged writer, the photo is of a tree looking up from the base of the trunk to the bare branches above )

Naked of greenery

Waiting for the spring

But it may not come this way again

For some, it’s only autumn ahead

No promise of rebirth, just wait for the end

But the tree doesn’t fall down and give up

It stands proud and straight till the end

Why do then, some people lose hope when they have

More intelligence and reasoning

When they think that the end may be near

Why do they abandon their hope and give up?
