Everything about which we build a hype ends in an invariable crash. After any holiday has passed, there is a low feeling. I have coped with this by keeping my expectations very real or I should say low! The less we expect, more are chances of us being NOT disappointed. Always plan to do something after the holidays. Something which doesn’t depends on others. Like treating yourself to a good movie or a favorite book.
Your favorite beverage (if it differs) during the holiday season? If it doesn’t differ, just answer the ‘what’s your favorite beverage” part.
Coffee! Coffee and just coffee. As a treat, I get decaf flavored coffee, like hazelnut or French vanilla.
This one has been asked before, but what’s your take on pumpkin spice?
I cannot understand it! And don’t like it either.
I believe in God staunchly. But there are no holidays associated in my religion per sé with God. We have our religious festivals , but that’s more to celebrate an occasion.
I could never be disappointed in God because of innumerable blessings I have been granted in my life. As for people of other religions celebrating their holidays, it gives me pleasure to see the happiness and good cheer being spread. To me, we all believe,(that is those who do believe) in the same God. We use different names and practices to honor our beliefs but we all are the same. Believing in good and shunning evil.
My choices keep on changing day today. Not particularly linked to any season or holiday.
