I just saw a fairy, Millie squeaked
She was sitting on a swing which was decorated
With beautiful pink flowers and vines
I think you are mistaken little one
In the dim light it could be something else
Fairies don’t come in the garden where anyone
Could see them or try to capture them
Sometimes evil skulks in shadows
And waits for them to take away their magic
They would choose a time of safety
When they could play about without fear
When the nasty creatures have gone away
And the world is safe for the magical creatures
