Thursday Inspiration # 30 – River flowing

Paula is the host of Thursday Inspiration

Welcome to Thursday Inspiration!

This week’s theme is river and the picture is below. Here is the song snippet from “The River Cried” recorded by Patty Smyth in 1987:

And the river cried ’cause I lost your love
The river cried, oh
The river cried for my lonely soul
The river cried

Raccoon on a branch in the river

The following river flows with grace

Grace and majesty captured in waves

Waves crashing on the rocky bed in foam

Foam rising in peaks and reflecting colors

Colors of the simmering sunlight in rainbows

Rainbows dancing along the running water

Water splashing and crashing along the banks

Bank of the river thick with green vegetation

Vegetation rich and lush fed by the flowing river

(Trying my hand at loop poetry)
