Thursday Photo Prompt- Glow # WritePhoto

Sue Vincent is the host of Thursday Photo Prompt

Welcome to this week’s writephoto prompt.

Use the image below as inspiration to create a post on your own blog… poetry, prose, humour… light or dark, whatever you choose.

For visually challenged writers, the image shows a frosty dawn, seen through the bare branches of trees. The sky is aflame, dappled with pink clouds, deepening to orange and gold. On the horizon is a small hill crowned with trees, behind which the sun will rise.

Looking at the dawn gives me hope

That this new day will be better than yesterday

The glow which is lighting up the sky

Says that something wondrous may happen

In the day which is going to start

If I don’t hold on to this hope, I know

My days will be bleak and dark always

It’s my hope that makes me smile

It is the anticipation that makes me

Get up from my bed and be ready to face each day
