Three Line Tales, Week 195 – Waiting

Welcome to Week 195 of Three Line Tales.

three line tales, week 195: hands coming out of the oceanphoto by Daniel Jensen via Unsplash

I needed that last bit of energy to lift myself out of the water but try as I might, I couldn’t find it in me for that final effort.

It seemed that though my body was willing, my heart had given in to the feeling of sorrow and betrayal and had lost the will to live.

Still, I hung at the edge of the water, holding on and hoping that you will realize your mistake and come back for me.

The Prompt;

You’ll find full guidelines on the TLT page – here’s the tl;dr:

  • Write three lines inspired by the photo prompt (& give them a title if possible).
  • Link back to this post (& check the link shows up under the weekly post).
  • Tag your post with 3LineTales (so everyone can find you in the Reader).
  • Read and comment on other TLT participants’ lines.
  • Have fun.

Happy three-lining!
