And the leftover roses from the funeral wreath
Remembering her winsome personality
Lost in yesteryears, lamenting his own role
If his manner were more loving and understanding
She would not have the justification
To stave off his love when she was living
Now leaning against his crooked stick
He could only mourn her death from afar
