Lifestyle

My selection;

If we consider what we do in life as a job, a chore or a responsibility, we can never enjoy that part of our lives. And it is a big part, almost 50% of our adult life. Choose a career or profession that you think you will enjoy working in. It will be the most rewarding experience of your life. I chose to be a mom and a homemaker. It was what I wanted and though it is the most difficult job on the planet, I enjoyed it. That is why I have no regrets about my choice.

I chose this one because of what I have been going through all my adult life. Being on a diet, or making healthy food choices can be daunting if it is an ongoing process. I have always had a weight problem and it was due to a metabolic deficiency in my body. I have spent almost 40 years, give or take a few, trying to keep my weight in the prescribed limits. Often without success. It is only lately that I realized that my approach is totally wrong. I need to eat for a healthy body and mind. Not for a slim figure which would be envy of others. Now I am choosing for myself, not others!

A hard lesson learned!
