Three Line Tales, Week 192

Welcome to Week 192 of Three Line Tales.

three line tales, week 192: a rainbow over a plaza photo by Sara Riaño via Unsplash

She was devastated after reading Mark’s letter and the constant drumming rain was making her feel even more miserable than ever.

Why? Oh why, did he have to do this now? Why did he choose today of all days to tell her that he was leaving her, that he was planning to marry his high school girlfriend Cyndi, it was just cruel and heartless of him.

So engrossed was she that it took her a few minutes to notice that the rain had stopped and when she looked up, the sun had come out and there was the miraculous double rainbow there as if trying to cheer her up, maybe a message from heavens that there are still things to look forward to.

The prompt;

  • Write three lines inspired by the photo prompt (& give them a title if possible).
  • Link back to this post (& check the link shows up under the weekly post).
  • Tag your post with 3LineTales (so everyone can find you in the Reader).
  • Read and comment on other TLT participants’ lines.
  • Have fun.

Happy three-lining!
