We humans are a gregarious species

Getting together, mingling and sharing

Not a week goes by before the urge arises

To call friends and indicate to them

The need for a get together to share

A cup of coffee and a bit of heart to heart talk

We’ve a desire to invite a few like-minded spirits

To lighten the burden weighing on our minds

And they would, like obedient children

Would switch off their social calendar

And be ready to meet and greet with open arms
