Looking up, the staircase seemed endless, stories upon stories of unexplored space was beckoning her to go up and see for herself.

At the same time she felt a dread of something dark descend on her mind, a fear which was as illogical as it was unwarranted because though it was an old house there was no particular history attached to it, no gruesome tales of darkness related to it.

She moved towards the staircase, quelling her inner dread when the side door opened and a figure appeared, ” Excuse me miss but I don’t think you should go up” he said.

  1. This is one of those stories, that hurts because you don’t know what happens next. You always keep us in suspense. But I suppose it triggers our imagination to finish the story ourselves. 🤔 I wonder
