This week consider “Flowers” as our topic. What thoughts and stories do you have regarding flowers.


The bee was searching high and low

For nectar from the flowers to borrow

The creature was simple and guileless

Not an ounce of craftiness it harbored

Flowers were a lifeline for its kind

And they in turn would propagate them

Pollination from one plant to another

Essential for the survival of both the species

It didn’t need to do any research

All programmed into its DNA

Humming and strumming like that of a guitar

They make their own music
