Museums are fascinating places. They are like a capsule of time period preserved with remnants of history, so that people who visit them can experience what that particular era of time was like.
To borrow the words of Lois Lowry;
…That’s why we have the Museum, Matty, to remind us of how we came, and why: to start fresh, and begin a new place from what we had learned and carried from the old.
A museum of history, technology, art or space, all hold equal fascination for the visitors. These are not only interesting but also informative. Taking the children to a museum is best use of the time. It often infuriates me that we would rather visit amusement parks than a museum which holds the key to not only the past but to the future too. We should dedicate a few hours enrich our lives.
