~*~*~

The old lady had a million wrinkles on her weathered face

Her body was thin and bend forward

But in her eyes was a twinkle

You could look at her and see that she wasn’t

An ordinary person but rather someone special

A sage as older people were known to call her

A font of wisdom and experience, she was

You could take your problems to her

With the full confidence that she will

Give you the best advice there was

Help in solving riddles of life

One help she would offer to one and all

Burn a little sage in your place to rid it

Of all the evil and pests that bother you
