Three Line Tales, Week 187

Welcome to Week 187 of Three Line Tales.

three line tales, week 187: two buddhist monks at a coffee shopphoto by Manthan Gupta via Unsplash

Modern culture has reached the monastery too as now you can see the monks sitting at a cafe having a cup of coffee.

Brother Dharma was not completely convinced that having tea or coffee was allowed according to fifth precept and was trying to have an in-depth discussion with brother Om about it.

But Om had no doubts about it at all, as he ordered a double latte Macchiato and was extolling it’s virtues already.

You’ll find full guidelines on the TLT page – here’s the tl;dr:

  • Write three lines inspired by the photo prompt (& give them a title if possible).
  • Link back to this post (& check the link shows up under the weekly post).
  • Tag your post with 3LineTales (so everyone can find you in the Reader).
  • Read and comment on other TLT participants’ lines.
  • Have fun.

Happy three-lining!

      1. Haha no and I would say most buddhists are very relaxed about jokes and also “rules”. The only really important rule is to live life in a way that makes you feel good without hurting other people or the planet we all live on. 🙂
