Share Your World 8-12-19

As promised this week’s Share Your World is far more light hearted than last week’s.    Effusive thanks to Mel of “Crushed Caramel..” for the graphic.   I snagged it off her SYW post from last week.

I will post four or five different questions each week for you to answer.  There are two ways which you can participate.

  1. Create a SYW post.  Then post the link to your blog in my comment box or leave your answers in the comments box of my blog.
  2. To make it easy for others to check out your post, title your blog post “Share Your World”  and link it to this post.
  3. Remember to Follow My Blog to get your weekly reminders.
  4.  Ping-backs are activated, but how efficiently varies.  For instructions on how ping-backs work, in case you weren’t certain, please click here.  You may wish to leave a link to your blog post in the comments just to be sure.  Thanks!
  5. There are sometimes two sets of questions…one with images and one without (same questions).  This is for ease of copy and pasting.

What makes you laugh?

I have a quirky sense of humor. I laugh at myself most of all, my silly mistakes and blunders. It takes little to make me smile and be happy. But one thing that I don’t enjoy is the discomfort of others. That’s why the funny videos of people falling or getting hurt doing crazy things is not going to make me laugh.

What’s the world coming to?  (Credit to Mel of Crushed Caramel…)

We started civilization in caves. Maybe we are going back to that. Trying to destroy each other, hate on basis of someone being different are are signs of primitive thinking.

In one sentence sum up the Internet.

Don’t take what you read on the internet as the gospel truth.

If over time you replace parts on a car, at what point does it stop being the same car you bought? How many parts do you need to replace to make it a new car?

A new body and engine. If the seatbelts are from the previous car, it’s okay.

Gratitude is an attitude.   Yea or nay?   Explain your viewpoint please!

I liked how Fandango differentiated between gratitude and attitude. I agree. We can have an attitude of gratitude and it is a blessing to have it. But plain attitude is just a pain, if you’re getting my drift. There is a need to teach people to be grateful and mindful of all the blessings of life. It will also change our attitude and make us happier and more contented.

  1. Thanks Sadje for Sharing Your World!! Beautiful thoughts as usual! 😀 And bears? Well I might not mind a bear in ‘my’ cave if it were winter or it were chilly, as long as said bear was house broken and did it’s business outside. Also if said bear didn’t get the mid-hibernation munchies and view me as a tasty snack…. 😛

  2. I agree with you on those “funny” videos of people getting hurt. I hate most of the prank video’s too as they just seem cruel to me. Maybe that is because of a “prank” played on me involving a gun I didn’t know was a blanks gun… scared the hell out of me.
