Breathless and waiting.

You’re scribbling frantic messages on pieces of paper

The battery is dead on the phone and who is to blame

You are standing at the side of road next to a broke down car

A feeling of impending doom surrounds you as you can see

The nearing of the demons in the beam of car headlights
