How do I say it in a poetic way
So that I don’t hurt your fragile ego
But say I must because you seem to think
That there is something superior about
All that you represent and think about
Sadly there is nothing original or genuine
About felling better than everyone else
People have been suffering from this complex
For centuries and it is always a false sentiment
You better take a hike and look around you
From that vintage point how the world looks
People all look the same when you see them
From a height because that’s when you realize
That we really are very small in stature as compared
To the universe around us.

This is a great piece of writing, Sadje, I loved it – from the false grandiosity of narcissism to the realisation that we’re all “very small in stature” compared to the universe.

A good dressing down for egotistical egomaniacs.
And as always brilliant incorporation of all the prompts.
