The neighborhood looked exactly like what he wanted. Quiet, serene and modern. He was glad that he had signed the lease without too much delay. The fact that it had earned a dark reputation did bother him but he hoped that by remaining where he was, he might do some good, even there. He unpacked his special gear and placed them ready for the night. The stake rested near the custom made gun which could fire the silver bullets he would need. All was ready. Now he waited for the nightfall when all his ingenuity and training will be needed.
