The long corridor was littered with flower offerings. Most of them were in front of the statues, which adorned that side of the building. She stood there looking at them in awe. She hadn’t seen anything like this before. Turning to the man standing next to her, she added, hopefully, “how many things with angels on them are there here?” The curator was baffled for a minute then the light dawned on him. They really are not angles, Nell, these statuses are of great thinkers, queens and kings of the old times. They are here as a sign of respect!
