The right balance is required in life. In our attitudes, I mean. Go overly serious and concerned about all the details in life and you are surely going to lead a very stressful life. But if you are lackadaisical about the life in general and your own in particular, you may not be living in stress but your family maybe. You see there are expectations of us. From our parents initially and then from our partners or spouses. When kids arrive, they bring their own set expectations of how we should be conducting our lives into that mix. The result is that we have to somehow try to fulfill these expectations. A balance where we are not too flippant about life and all that it entails has to be reached.
