Melanie of Sparks from a Combustible Mind asks us these questions as a part of her share your world post;
1. What social stigma does society need to get over already?
There a lot of issues which should be open to discussion. The stigma or taboo attached to issues like mental health, self harming, suicidal tendencies, physical limitations and body shaming should be gotten rid of. We need to educate people and ourselves about the importance of open discussion, and sharing of information about these problems.
2. What was the last photo you took?
From my phone, a few minutes ago of my grand daughter as she was giving a big smile( it is a smile and not gas in her tummy). From a camera, I don’t know as it’s been a long time.
3. When was the last time you snooped and found something or found out something you wish you hadn’t?
I don’t normally snoop around. I feel that not only it’s not polite but you also get wrong information as opposed to something useful. But recently I found out a disturbing fact about a friend’s finical situation and since I don’t know it officially, I can’t say anything to console her.
4. What’s the most comfortable bed or chair you’ve ever slept in?
My own bed. I have gone to a lot of trouble to get the best mattress we can afford and my down pillows which are soooo comfortable. The negative side is that I don’t sleep well in any other bed.
An Attitude of Gratitude;
Can being grateful change Your World?
It definitely can. The circumstances will be the same but we will be looking at them with different eyes. Eyes that see all the good that we normally take for granted. Being grateful can bring in more blessings and make us realize that we are so much better off than we thought previously.
