Birthday surprise

It was a surprise, made on the sly. Hiding all activity from Sam. Even when he asked what I was doing in the garage, he got a terse reply of ” nothing “. His foray into the secret sanctum were prohibited and I had a feeling that he had a pretty good idea of what was going on. But both of us kept the facade of being ignorant of what the other “party” was up to.

On the day of Sam’s birthday, there was a big reveal. He was super excited to see his new fort, which was made to the scale with turrets and a draw bridge too. He was so thankful for this wonderful surprise. I made all the effort and his dad also got included in the Thanks because of his association!
