Time to write- Sentence Starter #45

Write a story beginning with the dialogue: “Look at that!”

“Look at that!” Walter shouted to his friend Jane. She came running to see what he was pointing at. There was a tiny green miniature frog hoping about. Both the kids watched it in fascination. It was an amazing discovery to them that there were baby frogs which looked exactly like the bigger frogs but were a fraction of the size. Walter ran to get something to trap the tiny frog in, and returned in a short while with a used paper cup. Both the kids were sitting on the ground trying to get the frog to go into the paper cup. And they were so engrossed in this activity that they didn’t noticed their kindergarten teacher, Mrs Smith was standing near them with an amused smile on her face. Gently set tapped on Jane’s shoulder. Jane immediately became flustered and tried to give an excuse for their behavior. Mrs Smith reassured them that she wasn’t disappointed in them but she asked them to let the froggie go back to its family. “You see, kids it’s family will be worried if it didn’t return to them”
