Thursday Photo Prompt—Threshold#Writephoto

Sue Vincent has given us the prompt for this week:

Use the image below as inspiration to create a post on your own blog… poetry, prose, humour… light or dark, whatever you choose, by noon (GMT)  Wednesday 10th April  and link back to this post with a pingback to be included in the round-up.  There is no word limit and no style requirements, except to keep it fairly family friendly.

Light at the end

Standing at the threshold of darkness

Staring into the light that is so bright

How many thoughts cross your mind

The eyes adjusting to the brightness of the day

Then looking back trying to find the familiar in the darkness

Step out and embrace the new day

Or still linger in the now intimate dark

There is light at the end of this threshold

Do I care to step out and embrace it?

    1. That would be the logical thing to do. But some people prefer to cling to the familiar despite knowing that it would be better if they stepped out and embraced change. Thanks for sharing your feedback
