Word of the week –
escapism – (noun) – habitual diversion of the mind to purely imaginative activity or entertainment as an escape from reality or routine.
fantasy, reverie, romance, fancy, imagination, woolgathering.
Escape into dreams
Close your eyes and open your mind
Build castles in the sky or on the sand
Sometimes you have to open the door
And step out of the real into the imaginary
It is like a pressure valve that needs to release
The pent-up steam in your life to ease the strain
Escapism is not a bad thing if it’s not a habit
It needs to be indulged as a special treat
Once in a while, occasionally and not daily
We have enough dose of reality in regular days!
