What is in the Closet?

On opening my closet, I peer in there

Something fit to wear to a feast I need

Nothing paltry, mind you I require

A fetching dress to set the evening alight

It must be ravishingly attractive to catch

The eyes of all those present at the gala!

I would reject any which is unalluring

That would make me a laughing stock
