Tale Weaver #214; Curiosity

This week your challenge is the word “Curiosity”.

What does it mean to you?

It did apparently kill the cat.

Write your reflections, story, poem about what the word means to you.

Curiosity is a gift that is valued by few

Most think that it is an intrusion unwelcome

The mind that is curious wants to know

It needs to unravel before it can make anew

Curbing this instinct, we do no favors

It is like closing the book before it is read

There are treasures to be found if looked

All around us are the clues to unlock

Waken up the mind to look with child-like wonder

The mysteries of the universe are there for taking
