Mind your language

On the auspicious occasion of his victory

He stood on the podium to deliver his address

The words he used weren’t new, in fact we all had heard them before

The sentiments he expressed were quite passé

What was different was the way he used his language

Inciting hatred and emotions of extreme negativity

Left the audience wondering why did they chose him

Why was the future of their nation was left in his hands

The person who was obviously so incompetent to hold the reign of the country

His lies and deceit melting the wax souls of his cronies in

A big puddle soon to be trodden over by justice

Your daily word prompt;

Auspicious

RDP;

Language

FOWC;

Puddle

Word of the day challenge;

Wondering
