EfiSoul63 posted these questions on her blog. With her permission I am sharing them, after answering them. If you like , you can also do so!
What keeps you up at night?
The days I have too much coffee. Sometimes my brain starts whirring and whizzing, churning out ideas for my blog and I am suddenly alert and try as much as I can, no sign of sleep.
What’s the most surprising self-realization you’ve had?
The surprise was the blog. I didn’t know that I could write so often and with such ease after only five months of blogging. I am also surprised that the poems I write can convey my feelings better than pages of prose or that I can write short stories. A package full of surprises, that is my blog!
What’s the most illegal thing you’ve done?
Run through a red light. Sorry!
What lie do you tell most often?
That I don’t mind doing what they are asking me to do as a favor.
What do you regret not doing?
Lots of things. Like tell so and so off for being nasty to me or standing up for myself when I was younger and not sure of myself. But now think that is was better this way.
What gives your life meaning?
My faith and my family. And to a lesser degree, on a day to day basis, my blog.
What do you most often look down on people for? What do you think other people look down on you for?
I really don’t look down on people, but I do feel sorry for those who lack manners and moral values. I think people may look down on me for the fact that I say what I think. Some people think that this is rude!
What bridges do you not regret burning?
None! Not that sort of person. I forgive people and try to keep the communication open and leave the door ajar for those who may want to return.
What are you most insecure about?
Nothing in particular, just have the occasional twinge about my kids, but I think that is a mother’s job, till she lives.
How do you get in the way of your own success?
I used to doubt myself and my abilities. But I have received so much encouragement here in the blogging world that now I am willing to welcome success with open arms. Whenever it is ready to come, I will embrace it!
What’s one thing you did that you really wish you could go back and undo?
I don’t think that we ever should. Whatever happens in life, is for a reason. So don’t( not that we actually can) try to undo anything. There maybe be unforeseen consequences that could make things worse than the original mistake.
What are you afraid people see when they look at you?
An overweight lady…… Just kidding. I am an overweight lady so no help there. Unless I can lose sixty to seventy pounds!
