Here’s how it works:
On the first of every month, I’ll post a speculative fiction prompt from Pixabay. These images are attribution free so you can use them on your blog without worrying about copyright restrictions
Post your response on your own blog and link back to this post with a pingback, so I can reblog your post as well as include you in the month-end round-up. There are no word limits or style restrictions, but please keep it somewhat family friendly.
It is a tiny house, that the mice took over. They were multiplying and the population was increasing so rapidly that they were running short of accommodation in this tiny abode. Tim the tiny was an enterprising mouse. He went and sat outside to think out a solution to the housing problem of his clan. Suddenly, he thought of Josie, his elephant friend in the forest. And yes he was friendly with an elephant! Not all elephants are afraid of mice. In fact he didn’t knew of any elephants who were afraid of him.
He trotted to the forest, and called out to Josie. After waiting a while the elephant walked out of her home and came over. He explained his problem to her and asked for advice. Now Josie was a very wise elephant. She told Tiny Tim that the solution to his problem is to find new and bigger accommodations for the mice clan.
She volunteered to transport the tiny house to someplace where they can find a better place to live. She lifted the tiny house by her trunk and started on her journey. But carrying the house hindered her vision and she ran smack into a tree in the forest, the house was smashed to bits and the mice ran to save their lives, halter skelter , cursing Tiny Tim and Josie!

Oh dear! What a calamity! Poor Josie and Tiny Tim. Their plans didn’t go so well. Thanks for taking up the prompt and for the creative story. I’ll get it lined up for a reblog. 🙂 Have a great Sunday.

Though luck. Even with an elephant on your side, things didn’t go their way. Let’s hope they find another house, at least.
