“Maybe I needed to learn to stay more alert when traveling in a foreign country” – Lisa Bullard, Turn Left at the Cow.
Hank was a traveler. Though he hadn’t left home till now but in his mind, he always had been a traveler. After a life lived serving his bosses, fulfilling his family’s requirements and doing all that was expected of him, the time had come to live his dream of traveling.
He sat, looking at the map, planning his trip. He was going to the site indicated on the map. The map was of a special magical place grandpa had told him when he had handed it to him. A part of earth very few people knew about. He would find it, Hank wowed to himself. It was going to be the adventure of a lifetime.
But it was a very arduous journey. It took him to the unknown lands. He should not have ignored the finely written instructions by his grandfather on the bottom of the map. Hank did reach the lost land, and he found the hidden treasures that were promised. “Maybe l needed to learn to stay more alert when traveling in a foreign country” Was the thought in his mind when he sat in the prison, accused of stealing the national historic artifacts from the Aztec remains.
