Fractured and Formless

The moon looked broken too

As if one half of it was missing

Just like her broken heart

Fractured and bleeding

Tossed away like it’s nothin’

How cruel and callous

Could her “true love” be

Even tears had now dried

All the crying done for now

The road ahead was not visible

But she had to go on

Go on and find her way

Away from those who didn’t care

Away to a new morning

Where her fractured and Formless

Bleeding and hurting heart

Can be whole again

For she wasn’t going to give up

It was not an option for her

A broken heart she may have

But a brave mind was her’s too
