The tutu and the ballet shoes lay discarded on the floor. Tanya was sitting on the cushion nearby. She did it! It was the day she had always dreamed of, and today she had tasted the sweet nectar of success. Ballet was her one and only love. How she wished that her mom was alive today! It was her dearest dream to see Tanya, her only daughter selected to perform for The Royal ballet. But she died two years ago.
It was after her mother’s death, that Tanya, really became focused on her ballet. The vigorous training, the grueling practice sessions and her aching feet and legs, she tolerated all this docilely because she wanted to make her mom proud.
Today, performing for the lead role, she was conscious of a feeling of elation and euphoria. She felt her mother was looking down from Heaven and was smiling at her.

A sad one…but i like it when someone is so brave to write a sad story…that not all is happy ending and that is reality..

I must admit that I need to focus more on what you’re doing with your blog. You are quite prolific and I now realize that I am missing out on a lot of great pieces and I need to dig deeper with each visit instead of simply enjoying the first thing I encounter. Please forgive.
