A heart-felt thanks to Rory of A guy called Bloke and K9 Doodlepips for the nomination. I really appreciate the honor.

Here are Rory’s Questions:

Are you happy with the person:

1] You are

2] You were

3] You think you will become?

I am reasonably happy with what I am now, though I would like to be a slimmer version of myself.

I used to be an extremely sensitive person, prey to tension headaches and migraines. So not very happy with that aspect of my past. I have learned to let go of worries and ( try not to) don’t stress out about little things.

I don’t know what I will become in future so I really cannot say!

How many colours can you see in the image below, list them in detail.

I can see all the shades of blue, purple, saffron rust green and some of the colors, that I don’t know the names of!

Is there anything within five feet of where you are currently typing that is a permanent feature and motivates you to explore your mind deeply?

I am sitting about ten feet from the TV. That does influence my mind but doesn’t motivates me, I think.

How many vices do you have and of them which are your worst?

Like any average person, I have many vices. Overeating, overspending, giving advice ( trying to stop that) and talking too much. I am trying to stop giving advice unless someone asks for it.

How curious are you to new discoveries, and first time experiences even if they are possibly dangerous or risky for you to try? As in will you try them, or make an excuse not to?

I am not very adventurous by nature unless it’s technology. I love trying new things. I almost tried the new Gutenberg editor but was warned of its many many flaws in time and now I am safe from the frustration cause by using untried software. I alway install the updates on my phone or laptop. And have lived to regret that decision. And that is about all the adventure that I undertake.

If you answered No Way to question 5, what prevents you from doing so?

It’s all answered above.

If you answered YES Please to question 6, what motivates you to take those risks?

I want to learn new things. It gives me a sense of achievement. Also I don’t want to be considered an ignoramus by my kids, who are very tech savvy.

What type of song do you think our banjo player here is playing? Provide a link to what you think it might be as your answer to this question.

I have absolutely no idea about banjo players or the songs they play( call me ignorant) so I picked this one as l liked it!

Stampeders version of sweet city woman.

8 Thoughts about me:

I love reading books and have read books from all genre .

I am a big fan of Marvel, superhero movies. I try to watch them within the first week of release.

I don’t watch TV. Only if something of monumental importance is happening, I would turn on the news.

I love meeting friends and going on girls day out.

I have found out that I love writing my blog.

I am following Keto diet for the last 14 months and am trying to get my stats to a healthy level. But I love carbs so sometimes I slip up!

I don’t like people who break the rules and tell them so. It sometimes make me quite unpopular!

I walk daily. It helps my knees, keeping the muscles strong and also helps me think up new ideas for my blog.

My 8 Questions:

How has writing affected your life?

Do you have any hobbies?

Do you follow the social media?

On a relaxing day, do you prefer to go out to eat or order in?

If you were required to learn another language, which one would you choose and why?

List you 3 favorite writer whose work has affected your own writing?

Morning walk/ jog or evening gym?

What is your childhood dream that you still want to achieve/ or have achieved?

I will nominate 8 blogs for the Liebster Award. Hope that you will accept and Pay it forward.

  1. An upturned soul
  2. Chopkins2x3
  3. Blind Wilderness
  4. I didn’t have my glasses on
  5. Salted Caramel
  6. Stralthy

  1. Congratulations, Sadje!!!

and thank you very much for the nomination πŸ™‚

I loved reading your answers, and I’m very happy you have found that you love writing a blog because I love reading your posts, you’re an excellent blog post writer – it’s not as easy as it seems to do that. Your words are vibrant and alive!

The bit about giving advice being a vice… omg, that is so well-observed!

I love your honesty, it’s very refreshing and inspiring πŸ™‚

Love your questions, and look forward to answering them and sharing the love around ❀

ps. I have also seen bloggers grumbling and warning others about Gutenberg. I tried Gutenberg out when I first noticed WP offer the trial run, I've been using it for over a month now, and frankly I love it! Sure it has glitches but so does Classic and that other editor which (I hated and never used) came after Classic.

      1. Nooooo… don’t take my word on the new editor! It wasn’t advice πŸ˜‰

I like Gutenberg but I often like things no one else likes. It works for me, but it may not work for you.

Try it out if you want to, if you’d rather not try it out then don’t try it out.

Whenever something changes on WordPress there is always a lot of grumbling from WordPress bloggers… change is always worrying and triggers grumbling.

Trust yourself and do what feels right for you!

                  1. I think we all give advice. Advice is free and of all the vices out there it’s not the worst. If someone asks for advice, they don’t have to adhere to it, afterall advice is just another opinion and that may make the receiver think slightly differently about their problem/topic/question.

I think when advice is awarded when not asked for is when it becomes a real vice, and more so if the adviser is persistent in their giving πŸ™‚

  2. I am touched and truly honored. Thank you so much! I will accept and follow the rules at a later date. Unfortunately we just had another death in the family and I cannot focus to do so today. But, I sincerely thank you for the nomination.
